Initial Assessment
An initial assessment consultation is the first step in your treatment pathway whether you are looking for your first prescription or experiencing discomfort that has been difficult to resolve.
Initial assessments are performed at our clinic locations or, alternatively, we can arrange for a clinician to visit you in your own home. Please contact us for more details and costs associated with home visits.
During initial assessment our expert clinicians will not only perform a full clinical assessment but will also discuss your hopes and aspirations for treatment. Our aim is to consistently provide solutions that not only meet, but also exceed, our patients’ goals.
Following the consultation, we will prepare a report to summarise the prosthetic or orthotic assessment, the clinician’s opinions and recommendations; including the prescription options and projected costs.
